These terms and conditions govern the download and request of IOM books and publications through IOM Publication Platform at http://publications.iom.int.
In line with IOM’s Environment Policy publications are mostly available online only. Printed hard copies have not been made in order to reduce paper, printing and transportation related impacts.
Some hard copies of previous publications may still be available. If the publication is available, there will be a button “hard copy” on its landing page. If you are interested in obtaining a hard copy, you will be prompted to fill in a form to request it when clicking the button. Please note that not all publications are available in hard copy. However, they can all be downloaded for free, with the exception of those that are published through commercial publishers. A maximum of 3 available publications may be requested per person and per month.
IOM only accepts cancellations of request prior to sending shipments. To cancel a request, you must send a cancellation notice to IOM email (email@example.com) within 24 hours of placing your request.
IOM will cover the shipping cost of the requested publications.
IOM reserves the right not to ship requests to certain countries.
Delivery time may vary between 3 to 14 business days from the date of receipt of your request.
IOM does not accept returns.
IOM’s business days are from Monday to Friday, except for official holidays in Geneva, Switzerland and Manila, Philippines.
IOM reserves the right to cancel requests or delay the shipping of orders due to circumstances caused by force majeure, such as civil disorder, military action, natural disaster and other circumstances which are beyond the control of IOM.
IOM warrants that the ordered items are of a satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for its normal purpose. IOM specifically does not make any warranties or representations as to the accuracy, quality, condition or delivery of the items.
