The GFMD Research and Policy Initiative aim was to complement and provide additional empirical support to the roundtable discussions of the Ninth Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD)

The Initiative has gathered evidence relevant to each of the sub-themes of the Ninth GFMD (Economics, Sociology and Governance). The reports group these materials into good practices, promising practices, emerging practices and case studies, to complement and provide additional empirical support to the roundtable discussions of the Ninth GFMD. The project is a multi-agency collaboration, led by IOM Dhaka in coordination with ILO and UNDP in Bangladesh.
