“Screening Chest X-ray Interpretation and Radiographic Techniques” is the outcome of three years work, produced as one of the objectives of the IOM Global Teleradiology Center to optimize the quality of radiology services in health assessment programmes (HAPs).  The guideline is prepared by IOM radiologists with long-time experience in radiology practice, teaching and screening chest X-ray (CXR) interpretations in HAPs,with contributions from IOM Medical colleagues with long-term experience in health assessment and quality control programmes, and reviewed by a radiologist from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
