The Migration Governance Indicators Success Stories
This booklet is a compilation of success stories stemming from the Migration Governance Indicators (MGI) process. Reflecting on the achievements of the MGI programme on the eve of its fifth anniversary, this publication includes examples from several countries that have used the MGI as basis to strengthen their migration frameworks through the development of new policies and laws, and the formulation of action plans to achieve goals outlined in global commitments (such as the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration), among other policy activities. It offers a concise view of these initiatives, which can be used as inspiration for other governments.
This project is funded by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, among other donors.
