Migration for Development: Within and Beyond Frontiers

This book presents the findings from selected studies published in IOM's Migration Research Series during 2005-2006. Migration for Development: Within and Beyond Frontiers has been published to coincide with the High-Level Dialogue on International Migration and Development (HLD) that will take place in the United Nations General Assembly on 14-15 September 2006. The High-Level Dialogue will focus on the global effort to create measures that will maximize the potential development benefits of migration and mitigate its negative aspects. This collection is intended to be a contribution to that debate.
