Knowledge Management Strategy 2024–2028
The Knowledge Management Strategy 2024–2028 promotes a coherent and systematic approach to leveraging knowledge to foster organizational effectiveness and transformative solutions in a rapidly changing migration landscape.
In alignment with the IOM Strategic Plan 2024–2028 – of which learning and innovation are key enablers – the Strategy underscores the importance of knowledge-sharing and collaboration with key stakeholders to fulfil migration’s potential and support for vulnerable populations. It aims to create a dynamic and people-centred knowledge ecosystem that promotes a culture of learning and innovation, while enhancing the impact and results of IOM on migration policy and interventions. Additionally, it seeks to position IOM as a global thought leader that provides world-class knowledge to drive transformative solutions and innovation with partners and stakeholders. In doing so, IOM helps advance the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the UN 2.0 Vision Quintet of Change.
