The publication highlights the protection of persons on the move in the ECOWAS region, with particular emphasis on refugees and VoTs, highlighting the overlapping nature of defining Victims of Trafficking (VoTs) that are refugees and refugees being VoTs, and including a chapter on children. Through its regional approach and looking at trafficking in a wider context of protection needs of migrants and interagency collaboration, the publication presents a timely tool to broaden the general migration management debate.
