Resumen Descriptivo:

Despite all its potential, Africa is still facing numerous stumbling blocks in the way of its endogenous development. Indeed, generally high population growth has combined with a difficult political, economic or social situation to spur many of its citizens to emigrate in order to improve their situation. Moreover, in many countries, the spread of the HIV/AIDS epidemic is robbing Africa of the human resources essential to its economic development. This document presents an overview of the programme.
