A steady economic growth over the last two decades in Cambodia and the ASEAN region has contributed to an increase in internal and international migration in search of better employment and livelihood opportunities.
Since 2016, IOM’s Migration Governance Indicators (MGI) have helped governments in over 100 countries and 70 cities to take stock of their migration policies and strategies to identify good practices and gaps.
