Migration Health Data: An IOM Primer
This primer aims to guide practitioners, both health and non-health specialists, in supporting countries to improve migration health data at the country level. It can be used as a step-by-step guide to design and implement a dedicated initiative to improve migration health data, or individual steps may be adapted and implemented to suit needs. The primer can also be used for reference to integrate migration health data considerations into other health or data-related projects.
It is designed to be relevant in diverse settings experiencing different migration dynamics, across geographies and income levels. It relates to a range of migrant subgroups, including international and internal migrants, as well as internally displaced persons and refugees.
