Description : The report covers the 2006 activities of the IOM Migration Health Department (MHD). MHD promotes migrants’ right to health and advises partners and governments on migration health management. Beneficiaries include a wide variety of migrants, including internally displaced, refugees, trafficked, irregular migrants and labour migrants.
Activities encompass a range of health-related services in accordance with the challenges facing mobile populations today, and show the continued commitment by IOM Member States and donors regarding the management and operational assistance to address such challenges.
In addition, a list of relevant recent publications, presentations, videos, statistics and a financial overview illustrate the work carried out.
